Crew
Ian Hill was raised in Hawai‘i Kai and currently lives in his sailboat at Ala Wai Harbor. He is in his second semester at Honolulu Community College’s Marine Education and Training Center, taking Ka‘iulani Murphy’s class. (Ka‘iulani is a navigator of Höküle‘a.) Ian repairs sailing boats for the University of Hawai‘i sailing team. He also enjoys wood-turning and wood sculpting.
“I’m interested in crewing on Kama Hele back from Palmyra because Höküle’a has been a great inspiration in my life and I want to help in being a part of this voyage and hopefully more to come.”
