And, we have a winner!

In our first online contest, we asked people to tweet us how theyʻre navigating to a sustainable future. We had some great entries. Just a few include:

  • Being involved in community planning, going to hearings
  • Speaking with community groups on the importance of taking care of our environment
  • Helping to protect Kaʻena Point and Maunalua Bay
  • Leading a youth group
  • Volunteering in a homeless shelter
  • Teaching
  • Working with my class to ban plastic bags
  • Organizing beach clean ups
  • Buying locally grown food

So many people are doing so many great things. We want to mahalo each and every one of you for helping to make your communities better.

And, congratulations @RBotti, the winner of our first online contest. Keep your eyes open for the next one!
