Video blog: Steering to Palmyra

In all the video we show of the crew steering, it looks like they are gazing randomly off into space. In actuality, they are keeping visual contact with whichever clue nature provides to guide the way. In the first clip, Angela Fa'anunu is steering by the reflection of the sun on the water. Later, Kaina Holomalia aligns the sun with markings along the rail. As night falls, the steersman will use the moon and the stars to guide their path.
