Hōkūle‘a and her escort boat Kama Hele were privileged with the opportunity to visit one of the worldʻs ecological treasures, Palmyra Atoll. With great aloha, our crews wish to mahalo the Nature Conservancy and the US Fish and Wildlife Service not only for their hospitality, but for the invaluable work they do in protecting special places like Palmyra.
