Training: Approaching Palmyra

As you can imagine, the nearer we were to Palmyra Atoll, the more excited we became. However, even in our excitement, we knew we had a job to do. We had to navigate safely into the lagoon without harming the wa‘a or the intact coral reef system that surrounds Palmyra.
